Mr: S.G Darmasiri

Mr. S.G. Dharamasiri (Board Member) Mr. Dharamasiri has born in central hill area of the country. He entered the University of ColomboAnamaduwa Mahauswewa Sri Rathanapala High school. in 1975 and graduated with Bachelor of Education degree and combined the Department of Education as a teacher. He got his first appointment to After became an experienced teacher he joined teacher training for the Special Distance Teacher Training Project. Later he joined as an in-service adviser to promote Life Competency subject in the schools in Puttalam Educational Zone. Meanwhile, after 1989 youth riot, he was appointed as a consultant to the youth rehabilitation centre of National Youth Service Council. Later he completed two certificate courses on student counseling; one at National Institute of Education and another at the Ministry of Education. After that he was promoted and appointed as a student counselor. Now he works as the student counselor at Anamaduwa Central College. He has already completed 29 years service. He joins Thothanna as a recourse trainer to child youth and women’s program. He had contributed the Text book research and the campaign which has been reported as The role of school text books for multi social reconciliation.
