Peace through immages
Peace through images is a film appriciation development program conducted in 40 schools and in 20child groups in Puttalam District. We gave the prority to the marginalised schools which get less extra educational resourses. We grant them 2 hour art appriciation session including films and show them 3 filmlets which improve their film literacy and also the intercultural understanding
This film appriciation program was funded by International Movies that Matter for 30 school programs and 20 village level programms. Later we continued another 10 programmes with the help of FLICT and her own contribution of Thothanna.
