Children's Peace camp

Thothanna organized Children’s camp for Udara federation representatives combining Tamil children in Batticoloa. Children from Anamaduwa traveled by train from Maho to Batticoloa and combined with the children of the child groups facilitated by SHADOW. They visited the historical and cultural places in Batticoloa, Tsunami affected area and some other attractive places. They prepared their meals by themselves in Tamil and Sinhalese mixed groups, have a discussion with a Tamil writer about his books already available in Sinhalese and perform their talents. This peace camp was funded by FLICT.
