4.Peace and Social integration

Peace and Social integration is given special attention by Thothanna as it is a main condition for development.We had been in stagnant situation for more than 3 decade as we couldn't maintain peace among the ethnic groups in Sri Lanka.

Throughout the life time of Thothanna she has given her priority to contribute to develop peace in our society.As Thothanna we believe there are many structures which should be changed to develop sustainable and positive peace in our society. So Thothanna has contributed to lobby and advocacy to change those structures.And Thothanna has initiated to prove this through her projects.

Thothanna has analyzed the school curriculum and shown its bias and spaces which can be developed to improve inter cultural understanding.Thothanna has initiated to develop inter cultural literature through The Bridge for peace through literature and Peace through images etc. Thothanna has organized many exchange programs and peace camps for her direct target groups.
